Our War Nurses 1915

Popular Postcard from 1915
This is an image of a popular postcard from 1915, when Australia's nurses were serving overseas in the field hospitals on Lemnos, as well as on hospital ships and in Egypt.

Our Memorial Statue will play a small but significant - if belated - part in ensuring that the Nurses of the First World War are in fact "more honoured today".
